Welcome to The Montair Foundation! It is our vision that at Montair children reach their full potential intellectually, socially and emotionally through a well-balanced education. The Montair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to maintain and enhance educational excellence at Montair Elementary School. Through the collaboration of parents, educators, the school’s Site Council and the community, the Foundation funds programs and services that are important to the development of the whole child, but are not provided for by the state.
We Need Your Help: Giving Makes a Difference!
The Montair Foundation holds fundraisers throughout the year including our Annual Auction In February, a spring Fun Run, Restaurants of the Month, and Sip & Shop. We also accept donations throughout the school year.
What We Fund:
For the 2024-25 school year, our fundraising goal is $470,000. We are proud to fund the amazing programs and services below:
- Reading & math intervention (provides assistance to children who need additional support)
- 5 paraprofessional and instructional aide positions (reduces student to teacher ratios)
- Intervention & enrichment teacher on special assignment (additional in classroom student support)
- Technology upgrades
- Drama for 2nd & 5th grades
- Flowers for multi-modal learning in special day classes
- Additional librarian hours
- Leadership program
- Online learning resources, science of reading, and AI curriculum
- Substitutes for student assessment days by teachers
- Operating Expenses, Office/Equipment Rentals
- Teacher grants
